We are visiting Disneyland for the first time Sept 25-29th. Mickeys Halloween Party is scheduled for three of the five nights of our stay. We will be force to leave the park early? What time will we able to stay in the parks until? Thank you.

    Hi Jamie!

This has all been a bit confusing for everyone this year due to the great changes that Disneyland has done to their Mickey's Halloween Party. This year they are offering guests the chance to purchase the special event ticket for the Disneyland party and also enjoy a few hours of the great California Adventure park too.

The party nights during your stay will be the 25, 27, and 29. Disneyland will close to all non party ticket holders starting at 6pm on the 25 and 27 and then at 7pm on the 29. However, California Adventure remains open during their published hours for those dates to all guests so they will not close early on the nights of the Halloween Party.

This has been the confusion but California Adventure park remains open as usual to regular ticketed guests. They will not close this park early so I suggest you enjoy the Disneyland Park on party days during the day and then head over to California Adventure for the evening hours when Disneyland is closed. Obviously if you can add to your budget you would also enjoy the Halloween party. You might consider purchasing the special event ticket for one of the party nights during your stay to have a complete experience of all the fun and magic that is happening in the parks in September!
