Greetings Keisha!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Your trip to the Disneyland Resort is quickly approaching, and I'm so excited for you. Celebrating a holiday on your vacation will make it even more memorable. Although no special events have been posted for Mardi Gras yet, there usually are some celebrations throughout the Disneyland Resort. Keep an eye out on the
Disney Parks Blog for announcements in the next couple of weeks.
I will say that a visit to New Orleans Square in Disneyland Park is definitely in order to really get in the Mardi Gras spirit. Even though this area is festive every day of the year, in the past there have been some special holiday food offerings, entertainment, and Character meetings to mark the occasion. Also don't miss having the famous Mickey-shaped beignets at the
Mint Julep Bar or taking a scenic cruise on the Mark Twain Riverboat. You may even spot Princess Tiana celebrating here!
Another way to experience Mardi Gras with some southern hospitality is to have a Creole and Cajun feast at
Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen located in the Downtown Disney District. In the past they have even offered a special Mardi Gras holiday menu, so make sure to check it out.
Feel free to stop by with any other questions, and I hope you have a magical Mardi Gras!
