Hi there, Hilary! Thanks for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel for assistance with your upcoming trip to the Disneyland Resort!
Dining at the Happiest Place on Earth is always a treat and I continue to be amazed by the incredible array of tasty food options. The Disneyland Resort is extremely accommodating to those with special dietary needs and you will find that all table service locations offer special menus that notate which items are safe to eat for people with certain allergies and which dishes are available or can be modified for Guests eating vegan or vegetarian diets. The first thing that popped into my head is the Portobello Mushroom and Louisiana Popcorn Rice at
Blue Bayou Restaurant. This comes prepared with sun-dried tomatoes, roasted corn, sauteed spinach, and a balsamic reduction and is available for both lunch and dinner.
At
Carnation Cafe, your friend might enjoy the Chef's Vegan Burger which is a bean and vegetable patty on a wheat bun with all the fixins, including vegan chipotle mayonnaise. This can come with fruit or fries for the perfectly delightful lunch or dinner. For even more inspiration, check out this
fact sheet on vegetarian and vegan items available in the parks and the Disneyland Resort Hotels. Some items may be a bit dated, but this should be a good starting point for your planning. And if you want even more resources, you can reach out to
Special.Diets@disneyland.com for more personal assistance.
I hope this helps! Have a delicious time at the Disneyland Resort!
