We will be visiting Disneyland in December for three days. I would like to get a park hopper pass for just day 3 but that isn't an option online. Do I have to get the hopper pass for all three days or can I add the one-day hopper at the park?

    Hey there, Melinda!

Welcome to planDisney, it's so nice to meet you! You will love visiting during Holidays at the Disneyland Resort. Disney magic combined with holiday celebrations is a spectacular combination!

I think three days is a great amount of time to spend at the Disneyland Resort theme parks! You have two options for park tickets: One Park Per Day Tickets or Park Hopper Tickets. For One Park Per Day tickets, you'll make a park reservation for the park you wish to visit each day. For Park Hopper tickets, you will make a park reservation for the park where you wish to start your day but will be able to "hop" to the second park once park hopping is allowed (currently that's at 11:00 AM). The Park Hopper option applies to each day of your ticket, and you cannot add it to only one day of your visit.

Personally, I love having Park Hopper Tickets! Because Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park are so close to each other it's really easy to switch between the parks. Having the option of switching parks is especially helpful if one park is closing earlier than the other, or if you want to see a nighttime spectacular in one park but spend most of the day in the other. On the last day of our visit, we'll often hop back and forth a few times, to hit our favorite attractions one more time before we go home.

The add-on option that you can choose on a daily basis is Disney Genie+ service. You have the option to add it to your tickets when you purchase them (that would be for every day of your ticket) but you can also wait and buy it each day when you enter the parks, as needed. It might be helpful to purchase it for at least the last day of your visit, to experience as many attractions as you can!

You will love all the special decorations, food, and entertainment available during the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort! Don't forget to save some room for visiting the Festive Foods Marketplace for an amazing variety of seasonal sips and snacks. The best way to enjoy as many flavors as possible is a Sip and Savor Pass, which includes smaller sizes of your selected dishes so that there's room to try more items!

Melinda, I hope this information helps you find park tickets that work best for your family and has you excited for your upcoming visit! Please let me know if you have other questions, I'd love to send some more pixie dust your way!

    Keep moving forward!
