Hiya, Amanda! Your first visit to the
Disneyland Resort is going to be so magical! Don't forget to ask a Cast Member for a "1st Visit" button!
As a mom of three Mouseketeers under the age of 8, I understand how helpful
strollers can be! Unfortunately, stroller locks are not allowed, since Cast Members occasionally need to move strollers around to maximize space in the Stroller Parking areas. This rule applies to locks on the back wheels as well. However, I visit both theme parks quite often, and I’ve never had an issue with my double stroller. I have exited an attraction and found my stroller in a different spot than I left it, but have always found it within the Stroller Parking area. To make it easier to locate your stroller, I’d recommend
tying a balloon or special ribbon to the top handlebar. You can even add a luggage tag with your phone number or email address in case it gets misplaced.
As a general rule of thumb, I never leave any valuables in my stroller when we’re going on an attraction. If you do have any trouble locating your stroller at any point, contact a Cast Member right away, and they’ll do everything they can to help. But in my seven years of visiting the Resort with strollers, I’ve never had an issue, and I don’t anticipate you having one, either!
If you prefer, you can also choose to rent a single, jogging-style stroller from the Resort for a daily fee. The
Stroller Rental facility is adjacent to the Kennel, near the Disneyland Park Main Entrance.
Wishing you a magical first visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
