We are visiting Disneyland and California Adventure on October 10,11,12,13. It looks like there are no fireworks on the schedule from what I can tell at Disneyland while we are there? We were hoping to see the fireworks behind the castle.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Amy. Yay! Your Disneyland Resort vacation is just a week away – so exciting!

During this time of year, fireworks are usually presented only on weekends with the exception of the Halloween Screams: A Villainous Surprise in the Skies fireworks spectacular that takes place during Mickey's Halloween Party (separate ticket required). I took a look at the calendar, and it appears that the “Remember…Dreams Come True” fireworks will take place on Saturday, October 13, at 9:30 p.m. So if you were planning to be in the parks all day on your last day, then these fireworks would be the perfect finale of your magical vacation.

If you aren’t able to watch the fireworks this time around, there are some other fabulous nighttime entertainment options for you to enjoy. The Paint the Night parade will perform nightly in Disney California Adventure Park and should be at the top of your must-do list. This parade is absolutely mesmerizing and the upbeat soundtrack will have you dancing for days. Additionally, Fantasmic! will be presented twice per night during your trip other than on the 12th when Mickey’s Halloween Party takes place.

I hope your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth is full of magic and memories!
