Oogie Boogie Bash, I think this is one experience that will have your whole family grinning from ear to ear. It's an absolute scream!
So, let's brew up the perfect itinerary for your weekend!
When you arrive on Saturday, August 29, 2026, I'd check into your hotel first. If your room isn't quite ready, Bell Services will be happy to hold your luggage while you head out for some fun. I'd change into my park clothes and make my way straight to Disneyland Park. Walking through the gates of Walt Disney's original park is one of those experiences that never loses its magic.
Since you may not have a full day in the park, depending on your arrival time, I'd make sure you have the Disneyland Mobile App downloaded before your trip. Spend a little time browsing attractions and picking your must-dos. A few of mine are Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and Walt Disney: A Magical Life. Hearing Walt's story, experiencing Disney innovation in a way I never imagined possible, and then stepping back onto Main Street, U.S.A., gets me every time. It's presented throughout the day, and if you can begin your visit with that experience, I'd highly recommend it.
To make the most of your evening, I'd pick a nighttime spectacular like Fantasmic! or the fireworks and treat yourself to a
dining package that includes reserved viewing. After a long park day, having a designated spot waiting for you feels like a pumpkin king's welcome. You can relax and enjoy the show instead of spending hours haunting the perfect viewing location.
On Sunday, I'd begin the day with a Character Breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen or Storytellers Cafe. Even with teens, it's a fun way to laugh, dance, and enjoy great food alongside favorite Disney pals. One of the best parts of staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel is taking time to enjoy the hotel itself. After breakfast, I'd plan for a
pool day and take advantage of the slides, lounging, and poolside dining.
With Oogie Boogie Bash tickets, you'll be able to enter Disney California Adventure at 3:00 p.m., three hours before the party officially begins. As a Halloween fan, one of my favorite parts is that it's one of the few opportunities for adults to dress up in costume. My costume is ready for this year's visit, and I'm counting down the days! Family-themed costumes are always a boo-tiful choice. I'd head into the park at 3:00 p.m., enjoy a few attractions, and then dive right into the Treat Trails once the party begins. The rare character encounters are fang-tastic! And don't miss Villains Grove. That eerie walk-through experience is magical!
On Monday, depending on your departure time, I'd store your luggage with Bell Services and spend the day park hopping. By then, you'll have discovered your favorite attractions, making it easy to revisit beloved experiences or catch anything you missed earlier in the trip. For lunch, I'd recommend Cafe Orleans overlooking the Rivers of America. It's one of my favorite places to slow down and soak in the atmosphere.
