I am visiting Disneyland in August. I've entered tickets to my Disneyland app & have reservations. How do I transfer the tickets and Lightning Lane access to daughters so they can manage this on their own?

    Hello, Franklin!

Family time at the Happiest Place on Earth is always extra magical! It sounds like you are in the midst of planning a special visit, and it is such a great time to be in the parks with the 70th Anniversary in full swing! It's hard not to skip down Main Street these days with the catchy "Celebrate Happy" theme song playing throughout the resort. I promise, you will be humming along in no time.

I'm happy to help you navigate in and around the Disneyland app today and ensure your daughters have their tickets. I'm guessing that we are talking about teenage or adult daughters who have their own smartphones to book Lightning Lanes, etc., as opposed to younger Mouseketeers! In that case, I would recommend that they download the Disneyland app and set up their own Disneyland accounts to get started. Once those basics are good to go, you will all head to the three-line icon in the bottom right-hand corner and tap "My Tickets & Passes". This is where you will see any tickets that are linked to your account by scrolling left. You will stay here, and your daughters will tap the "+" in the top right-hand corner to "Link Tickets & Passes". If you are physically in the same space, they can select "Camera" and simply scan their ticket barcodes from your phone. If you aren't in the same place, simply send them the ticket ID number located under the barcodes, and they can choose "Type ID" to manually enter it in.

Guests can book Lightning Lanes for any tickets that are linked to their account, so it may make sense for your family to link the full set of tickets to everyone's individual accounts. This allows for the most flexibility when making your plans throughout the day. Everyone can stay together or split off into various groups without having to think about how it will impact their ability to move around the parks and hop into Lightning Lanes. Each Guest would just repeat the steps above for each ticket they would like to link to their account. I promise that it is very quick, especially if you can just scan the barcodes.

Don't forget that with your Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you have access to unlimited digital downloads of all the Disney PhotoPass photos you take during your park day. This is the BEST pixie-dusted perk, in my opinion! I can't think of a better way to capture these unforgettable moments. While we are exploring the app, tap the pinpoint icon in the bottom navigation bar to pull up the park map. Along the top, you will see that you can filter for all sorts of things from characters to dining to entertainment to...Disney PhotoPass! This means that you can scout out where those photographers will be stationed throughout the day so you don't miss an opportunity for an iconic family photo!

Franklin, I hope this has been helpful! If you need any more advice ahead of your visit, please stop by planDisney again anytime. We love sharing our Disneyland tips and tricks with fellow Guests to help them make the most of the magic.

    See ya real soon!
