If you did not purchase
Lightning Lane Multi Pass with your theme park tickets, do not worry, you have a few options! You may be able to
upgrade your tickets before your trip to add Lightning Lane Multi Pass, or you can also reach out to a helpful Cast Member on the
Ticket Services line for assistance.
You also can purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass after you scan your tickets into the theme parks for the day. As soon as you enter either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park, open up the
Disneyland app, and you should be able to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass directly from the home screen (subject to availability). I do recommend arriving to the parks early to maximize overall availability as well as Lightning Lane selection availability.
We try to arrive to the theme parks at least a half hour before they are scheduled to open so we can truly take advantage of a full day in the parks. We like to bring a portable breakfast with us to eat while we wait for the gates to open, and then we purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass as soon as we enter the parks. We usually aim to book the more popular selections earlier in the day such as Indiana Jones Adventure or Space Mountain in Disneyland Park, and Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT! in California Adventure.
