We are visiting Disney on 9/16 of this year and my 7 year daughter broke her arm 2 days ago. She has a cast, but not the waterproof one. What advice do you have for rides/attractions? I want her to still have a magical time!

    Hi, Robin!

Oh, I am so sorry your princess broke her arm.  I hope she is feeling OK.  Hopefully a nice trip to Walt Disney World will ease any pain!

Her cast really should not get in the way of anything.  You might want to bring a poncho for any rain.  As far as the attractions go, most are of the dry-variety, with the exception of Splash Mountain where you might want a poncho and a plastic bag to wrap the cast.   I would probably avoid something like Kali River Rapids in Animal Kingdom where you get soaked, and stay away from the water parks.   Besides that, most attractions are dry with very easy on and off access, so she should not have any trouble accessing any rides.

Wishing your daughter a speedy recovery and a wonderful vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
