Visiting Disney World for the week of Thanksgiving. Really want to attend the Candle Light Procession and need to know when the dates for the Cande Light Dining Packages be released?

    Hi Susan,

The Candlelight Processional is such a beautiful way to kick off the holiday season. It's always inspiring, regardless of who the celebrity narrator is. The first-come, first-served seating is in high demand, so a Candlelight Processional Dining Package is a great way to have a delicious meal and assure reserved seating for the presentation.

I would expect reservations for the dining packages to become available soon. Last year, they were released on June 30, and the announcement was made on the Disney Parks Blog. I would keep an eye on the blog for details. The celebrity narrators, too, will be announced on the blog as they become available.

While you are at Epcot, make sure you also take in the storytelling, music and special edition of IllumiNations that are part of the Holidays Around the World celebration.

I love visiting Walt Disney World at Thanksgiving and can't wait to take in all the holiday fun, including the amazing gingerbread creations in the Contemporary, Grand Floridian and Boardwalk resorts. Grab some gingerbread at the Gingerbread House at the Grand Floridian. Or visit different resorts to see the decoration. My favorite tree is at the Wilderness Lodge.

Thanks for your question, Susan. Please let us know if you have any other questions about planning your Thanksgiving visit. Enjoy!
