We will be visiting Disney World for a week next week. My nephew will then be joining the Air Force. I was looking for the Nachos Rio Grande Nachos as a special experience, but the seemed to have stopped. Is there any other food experiences for a group?

    Hi there, Michael!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am thrilled to hear your vacation will be here in just a few days. Hooray!

Unfortunately, you are correct. When we visited last December and inquired, the Nachos Rio Grande could no longer be ordered. It was a bummer indeed. Luckily, I may be able to turn that frown upside down with a couple of other delicious group ideas. I hope you plan on packing your sweet tooth!

First up, no trip is complete without my family trying to tackle the Kitchen Sink Sundae at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop. It says it serves four, but my family of five has never even come close to finding the bottom of this humongous treat. Scoops of five different flavors of ice cream are then topped with every topping they have! It's a tasty and fun adventure.

Another good group treat is the S'mores Baked Alaska at The BOATHOUSE in Disney Springs. This towering slice is made up of a graham cracker crust, rocky road ice cream, milk chocolate and a toasted marshmallow shell. If cake is more your thing, they have an equally impressive slice of Florida Sunshine Cake available. For a real treat, perhaps you could take him out on a ride in one of the neat, vintage Amphicars after your meal.

Have a wonderful vacation, Michael, and please let us know if there is anything else we may assist you with.
