We are visiting Disney World from the UK later this year, does Disney World accept American Express traveller cheques?

    Hi again Maria,

Although not as popular as they once were, as far as I am aware, travellers cheques (in US dollars) are still an accepted form of payment, along with a form of photo ID, at the Walt Disney World Resort.

I have telephoned the Walt Disney Travel Company here in the UK on 0800 16 90 730 to double check this and have been informed by a Cast Member that yes, travellers cheques (in US dollars) are indeed still an accepted form of payment at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Alternatively, foreign currency exchange is available at Guest Relations at all 4 of the Disney Theme Parks and Disney Springs as well as all of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels.

Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
