Hi Laura! The holiday season is a perfect time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort! The parks and resorts are decorated beautifully for this extra special (and merry) time of year!
I can see that you did your planning homework prior to sending your question to us! You are correct that
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is scheduled to conclude on December 22, 2023. That means the special-ticketed evening event in Magic Kingdom Park, held from 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM, will end on that date. However, some of the special party events, particularly Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade and Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show usually become part of the entertainment lineup during regular operating hours beginning on December 23 and lasting through late December. While this has not yet been confirmed, past practice (over many years) leads me to believe this will be the case once again later this year.
Parade and fireworks times will be included on the
Walt Disney World Resort website as we get closer to that special time of the year. The characters will continue to greet Guests for character meetings, but they usually do so in their merry holiday attire!
The regularly scheduled entertainment lineup in Magic Kingdom Park typically returns in very late December or early January. Come on back to planDisney whenever you have more questions!
