We are visiting Disney World 1/19/22 and staying at Pop Century Hotel. My biggest COVID concern is about the Disney Transportation buses. I read that masks will be required for all over age 2. Do the windows open on the bus to allow for air circulation?

    Greetings Allison!

I am so excited to hear about your upcoming trip to Disney's Pop Century Resort. If you have not stayed here before, I highly recommend checking out Everything POP Shopping & Dining. I love the variety of food options available! There is something for everyone. Your arrival day will be here before you know it. And while there is a lot to be excited about, I completely understand your COVID concerns.

The Walt Disney World Bus Service is a convenient and complimentary service available to all Disney Resort Hotel Guests. At this time all buses and resort transportation options do require a face covering for Guests ages two and older. Disney bus windows offer magical views, but they do not open. There is an emergency exit ceiling window near the back of the bus that is occasionally open, but this is not a guarantee. It is also important to note that buses are no longer limiting riders to number of physical seats available. Guests are allowed to utilize standing room as long as they are using the handrails.

Disney's Pop Century Resort also offers the option of the Disney Skyliner. This exciting, sky high way to travel does have vented windows on each car. As you soar through the air to EPCOT or Disney's Hollywood Studios these vents offer a breath a fresh air and a cool breeze through your hair. This mode of transportation is a lot of fun! The Skyliner route does not go to Magic Kingdom Park or Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Disney buses are the only complimentary mode of transportation offered to these parks.

If you are looking for a more private mode of transpiration, ride share services are available through third parties. Are you arriving to The Most Magical Place on Earth by personal vehicle? You can also park for free at any of the four theme parks as a Disney Resort hotel Guest.

I hope that these suggestions will help give you some transportation options for your upcoming trip. I have personally traveled to Walt Disney World several times recently, and I am always impressed with their health and safety protocols.

Allison, I hope that your trip is a magical one. If you have any other questions about your upcoming trip, please send them our way. We are here to help!

    Have so much fun!
