We are visiting Disney World for Spring break and debating on getting our 15 year old son an Annual Pass since he will be back with his Marketing Class later this year. Is it a good idea? figure the rest of us will get a 4 day hopper.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Margie!

How fun that you are considering purchasing an Annual Pass for your son! Sounds like a most magical upgrade.

Margie, if you are considering purchasing an Annual Pass for budget reasons, the best answer I can provide is to crunch the numbers. If I'm not mistaken, an Annual Pass is a good option when visiting the parks for more than 10-days. So, if your son has plans that add up to that amount of theme park day visits, I say, definitely go for it! If not, there might still be some good reasons to get one.

Being an Annual Passholder has other magical benefits that can also help stretch your Disney dollars! AP's get special discounts on merchandise and certain restaurants and other magical experiences. For the complete list, visit the Annual Passholder Benefits and Discounts page to see all the wonderful special offers you could take advantage of. Another magical perk is the download privileges for all the high-quality PhotoPass pictures captured on the account that has the Annual Pass. Bonus, if your My Disney Experience accounts are linked as a family, all those pictures will still populate.

I hope this information was helpful! Have fun planning your magical visit and don't hesitate to stop by to bring us any additional questions.

    See ya real soon,
