Hi I am visiting Disney world with my son who is a wheelchair user. I am considering booking the Fantasmic dining package but can't find any information about the wheelchair areas in the allocated seatig section. Thankyou

    Hi Catherine,

What a pleasure it is to welcome you to planDisney! Thank you for bringing your question to us.

You have chosen a spooktacularly jolly time to visit Walt Disney World Resort. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom Park is a spirited special ticketed event that offers special nighttime fireworks, Character interactions, and my favorite, the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular fabulous stage show. And if your visit extends beyond November 1, you will begin to see the entire Walt Disney World Resort transform into a holiday wonderland. It is truly a remarkable time to visit!

Catherine, I’m pleased to tell you that your son may remain in his wheelchair at many attractions, including Fantasmic! To help you plan ahead, check out this full listing of attractions and services available for Guests requiring mobility assistance. While you are on the go in the theme parks, you can also find helpful information on the My Disney Experience App by selecting the main menu and scrolling down to “Accessibility.” Of course, if you have any questions during your visit, a helpful Cast Member at Guests Relations or a member of the Guest Experience Team will be happy to assist you.

Catherine, when you book your advanced dining reservations online at any Walt Disney World dining location that accepts reservations, you will be given an opportunity to request wheelchair accessibility. After you enter your payment information, the next screen will ask if you have any special dietary or accessibility requests. Simply select “add” and you can indicate that you require wheelchair accessibility.  Once you arrive at the location, it is helpful to remind the Cast Member when you check in of your need. For your Fantasmic Dining Package, you will receive a voucher for your VIP seating. Again, it is helpful to remind the Cast Member of your need for wheelchair seating at the show.

I have no doubt that you and your son will have a fantasmic time on your Walt Disney World Resort holiday. If you have any other questions or would like more tips on how to make the most of your visit, please write back and let us know!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Shannon
