Hi, We're visiting Disney World (party of six) in mid September. We are staying on site(Fort Wilderness Cabins) for the first time(this is our 5th visit) and got the free dining plan offer. When does the dining plan start? As soon as we check in?

    Hi James!!!

We absolutely love the Disney Dining Plan, especially when it is free!!!

Yes, you will have full access to your Disney Dining Plan credits as soon as you check in.  They will be loaded onto your Key to the World Cards that you receive at check in.  Each person in your party will have one Table Service Meal, one Quick-Service Meal, and one snack per night of your stay.  Each person in your party will also receive a refillable resort mug for use during your entire visit!!!  You can use your dining credits as you choose.  You are not bound to using the allotted credits per day.    Your dining credits are usable through midnight of the night you check out.  This adds to the flexibility of the dining plan.

I would also advise you to make any desired Advance Dining Reservations for any specific restaurants as soon as possible so you can ensure that you have a chance to dine at those restaurants.

Please let me know if I can assist you with any other questions!!

    Have a magical trip!!
