We will be visiting Disney World in October and I have not been in over 20 years. How many days should we plan to visit Magic Kingdom with our 6 year old son?

    Hi, Sarah!

Welcome back to Walt Disney World.  You will notice many amazing changes and additions, but the magic remains the same!

If your schedule allows, plan on 2 days in the Magic Kingdom. With all the attractions, parades, fireworks, and character meet and greets, there is so much to enjoy.

There are 3 other amazing parks for you to experience if you have the time:  Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Each has something special to offer if you can squeeze them into your schedule.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
