Hi! We are visiting Disney World next month and staying in a DVC villa at AK. Is it possible to have a subscription meal kit box sent to the resort? If so, are there any requirements due to covid or otherwise I’d need to know? Thank you!

    Jambo, Diana and "welcome home."

Diana, a December trip to Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas sounds like the perfect holiday getaway... AND with the most gorgeous (living) scenery around! My family and I stayed at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas- Kidani Village just this past August and loved every moment of our trip.

Diana, one of the reasons I love being a Disney Vacation Club Member is the great variety of accommodations, like the larger villas with a full kitchen. Sometimes I like to consider myself a budding chef like my little pal, Remy, and those well-stocked kitchens help me live out that dream.

Now, to your question about a meal delivery service... when I checked with a Cast Member, he let me know that since this is shipped like a package, it would be handled as such. Meaning you will pick up your meal box at the front desk for a small fee. Diana, it's very important when shipping to indicate a few things on your package. I would recommend emailing or calling your meal subscription service to ensure the following are clear on the label.

First, the label should be addressed to "GUEST" and then your name or the lead name on your reservation. Second, make sure that your box is mailed directly to Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas. I have included addresses for both buildings:

Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas- Jambo House
    2901 Osceola Parkway
    Lake Buena Vista, Florida 32830

Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas- Kidani Village
    3701 Osceola Parkway
    Lake Buena Vista, Florida 32830

Diana, I hope this helps as you are preparing for your trip. If you need a break from chef duty, I highly recommend making reservations at Sanaa. I feel certain that the Indian-style Bread Service would earn five stars even from Gusteau's harshest critic, Ego.

Best wishes, Diana, for a vacation as sweet as pie. I hope you'll come back and see us here at planDisney with any other questions you might have.
