The
Walt Disney World Property Rules state that “selfie sticks, hand-held extension poles for cameras or mobile devices, flags and banners are not allowed in any theme park or water park.” It does not specifically mention gimbals, but as long as yours does not extend like a selfie stick, you should be okay to bring it.
I have seen Guests with gimbals in the parks, and planDisney panelist Emma
shared in a response last year that her husband has been able to use them. Generally, if they are small enough to fit into a backpack, I don’t believe you’ll run into a problem. However, it’s important that I let you know the final decision is ultimately up to Cast Members in the parks who will determine if your specific device is within the rules.
