Hi! I will be visiting Disney World March 1-4th. With a two year old I hesitate to make reservations. You never know what he will be up for ahead of time. Would you recommend making dinner reservations ahead of time?

    Hi April!

I know exactly where you are coming from!  Our oldest is 5, and the little ones can sure be unpredictable at times!  That being said, we've never 'winged it' without dining reservations at Walt Disney World with our kids.

For us, we plan according to the schedule we follow at home.  Keeping in mind the time zones, (we are in Texas, so Florida is an hour ahead of us) we plan our meals and nap/rest for about the same time we eat at home.  For us, consistency is KEY!

We also take lots of snacks to keep little tummies happy while we're cruising around, and make sure that everyone gets a GOOD protein-packed breakfast to give us energy for the day!

I'd suggest that you not over-plan your meals (ie more than 1 or 2 Table Service meals in one day), but also realize that things don't always go according to plan, and improvise.  Enjoy and have FUN!

    Have a magical vacation!
