Hi I will be visiting Disney world In march 2012 and staying at the Movies Resort. Should we see the Electrical Water parade at the Polynesion Resort and how can we get there from the resort or parks? Thanks

    Hi Michelle,

My family love to watch the Electrical Water Pageant! Did you know that it celebrated 40 years at Walt Disney World just two days ago on 26 October 2011?

Disney's Polynesian Resort is my absolute favourite place to watch the pageant which takes place nightly and usually follows the schedule detailed below:-

    Disney's Polynesian Resort - 9pm
    Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa - 9.15pm
    Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort - 9.35pm
    Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground - 9.45pm
    Disney's Contemporary Resort - 10.05pm

When Wishes Nighttime Spectacular is scheduled to take place at 9pm, the Electrical Water Pageant runs approximately 10 - 20 minutes later.

Please bear in mind that times are subject to change without notice and inclement weather can cause cancellation of the pageant.

If you decide to watch the pageant on an evening that Wishes Nighttime Spectacular will be taking place at the Magic Kingdom, you will also be able to enjoy the fireworks from a different perspective - the soundtrack is even piped in through speakers on the beach. It is a lovely relaxed way to enjoy the entertainment!

In order to get to the Polynesian Resort from the All-Star Movies Resort, you will firstly need to take a bus from your Resort hotel to the Magic Kingdom. From there, you can then either take the boat or monorail over to the Polynesian Resort. I would recommend that you allow 60 - 90 minutes for the journey which will allow for travelling time as well as time which will be spent waiting for your various modes of transport to arrive.

    Wishing you a magical trip!
