    We will be visiting Disney World 3/4/12 to 3/9/12. We will be in the Magic Kingdom on March 5 and I just booked Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage. I was told to meet at the Contemporary at 6:45pm. What time should we leave MK to get there?

    Hi Evelyn!  How exciting that your trip is coming up so soon!  That is a great week to be there too!  As for traveling time from the Magic Kingdom to the Contemporary, it depends on how you travel.  The quickest way is probably to walk, for which I would leave about 20 minutes.  I was there in December and walked from the Contemporary to the Magic Kingdom and it took less time than that, but I kind of walk fast anyway!  If you travel by the monorail, I would leave at least a 45 minute window of time.  If everything goes smoothly, it won't take near that long, but sometimes there will be a line to get on and/or you may be stalled on the rail while waiting for traffic to pass.  In my opinion, it's always better to be early than late!  There are some really nice shops you can pass any extra time in at the Contemporary if you get there TOO early!  I hope this helps!  Have a great trip!
