We are visiting Disney World while I am on leave from overseas and wanted to give my 18 month old granddaughter a princess experience but I seen that it says for 3 and up. Is there something else we can do for her? We are going in Apr 2-7 2013. Thanks.

    Hi Casey,

Your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort is fast approaching, you must be so excited!  I assume you are talking about the Princess Makeovers at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.  This experience is in fact for children aged three to twelve.  There are a few other options for your granddaughter that will indeed make her feel like a princess.

First, the Harmony Barbershop on Main Street U.S.A. offers packages for children for haircuts.  How magical would it be to have your granddaughter's hair cut while watching the sights on Main Street U.S.A.?  Also, Castle Couture located in the Magic Kingdom, right beside Cinderella Castle will sprinkle some "Pixie Dust" on guests hair free of charge.  There are dresses available for purchase at Walt Disney World Resort as well as at the Disney Store so your granddaughter will look the part as well.

Your granddaughter can meet the Princesses at various locations throughout the Theme Parks, be sure to pick up a times guide at the entrance for up to date Character meet and greet times and locations.  Cinderella's Royal Table or Akershus Royal Banquet Hall are two dining locations where you are able to dine with several Disney Princesses.

Disney Floral and Gifts offers several in room celebrations and surprises.  For your granddaughter, a great option would be A Royal Welcome - your granddaughter will receive a tiara, autograph book and some treats and she will be ready to hit the Theme Parks!

Please let me know if you would like some more details regarding my suggestions, or if you have any other questions.  I would be happy to help!
