We’re visiting Disney World in July. Our twins will turn three years, 5 days into our 10 day trip. Will we need to buy them tickets after their birthday? Thanks, Gemma

    Hi Gemma,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question! It sounds as though you’re planning a wonderfully magical birthday for your twins!

As you may already know, Guests under the age of 3 are Mickey’s very special guests during their visits to Walt Disney World Resort. This means that they don’t need to purchase a Theme Park Ticket in order to gain entry to the Theme Parks.

From what I understand, provided you’re staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, your children’s “age” for these kinds of offerings is based on their age when you check in for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. This means that, your twins are under 3 when you check in, you won’t need to purchase Theme Park Tickets for them during your stay. If, however, you’re staying “off-site”, then you’ll need to purchase tickets for them once they turn 3.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
