We will be visiting Disney World in January with my 60 y/o dad. He has a heart condition and can't ride most rides but wants to walk around with his grandkids. Are there any cheaper passes for non-riders?

    Hi Lindsay!

Thanks for your question. I'm excited for the special trip you have planned to Walt Disney World with your dad. I am just about his age and I can't think of anything I love more than exploring the Parks with my grandkids. He will have a wonderful time!

I remember the days (long ago!) when the cost of Disney Park Admission was based on different sizes of ticket books. Nowadays, though, all Guests pay the same amount for entrance--depending on things such as the number of days on the ticket, options such as Park Hopper which have been added, etc. Tickets are no longer priced according to Rides and Attractions visited. I think the very best part of visiting Walt Disney World, anyway, is watching your kids and grandkids having the time of their lives. He will love every minute of sharing those magical moments with all of you.

Please come back to see us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any other planning questions. We love helping Guests! Here's wishing you a wonderful Walt Disney World visit.

    Have a great day!
