Hi Jaydhar! Welcome to planDisney.
Your magical arrival at
Walt Disney World Resort is only a few days away. You are arriving in time to catch the last days of
The World's Most Magical Celebration. Enjoy
specialty-themed treats created just for this 18-month celebration in the parks, resorts, and
Disney Springs.
You are correct,
Mickey's Festival of the Fantasy Parade at Magic Kingdom Park is the only traditional parade at this time. I like catching the parade near Frontierland for lower crowds and proximity to attractions once the parade passes. You can still catch parade-like Cavalcades and other entertainment throughout the theme parks.
At Magic Kingdom Park, you have
Mickey's Celebration Cavalcade. Over at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, look for one of my favorite entertainment offerings on water. Throughout the day, you can catch six different themed
Flotillas featuring favorite Disney Characters like Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Russell, and Dug to name a few. I must report, over at
Disney's Hollywood Studios, the March of the First Order has been retired to a galaxy far far away. Although, you can catch the
Green Army Drum Corp at various times in
Toy Story Land. And keep your eyes peeled for another cavalcade featuring Edna Mode and The Incredibles Characters, along with Buzz Lightyear himself. At EPCOT, I enjoy watching the
JAMMitors put on a drumming delight throughout the day. All of these are subject to change, so please refer to the Entertainment Schedules on the days of your park visits. You can always check the "Tip Board" on the
My Disney Experience Mobile App for up-to-date times.
One last fan-favorite classic to catch is the nighttime
Electrical Water Pageant on Seven Seas Lagoon. I like to view this parade from
Disney's Contemporary Resort while enjoying a nightcap.
Keeping it Magical,
Cindy
