I will be visiting Disney World in Florida for the week of Christmas, can anyone give me the rundown on stroller hassels? I currently use a baby trend sit n stand, is it too big for the bus?

    Hi there Shawn!

Congratulations on your Christmas visit to Walt Disney World! I can't think of a more magical time of year to visit the Happiest Place On Earth!

You don't need to worry about stroller 'hassles' much at Walt Disney World. The entire property is quite "stroller friendly" and you're sure to see an abundance of these little chariots on wheels around escorting young Princes and Princesses. I've seen many Sit 'n Stand strollers throughout the parks and resorts.

Your main concern will be preparing your stroller and its occupant(s) for Disney Transportation.
When boarding any Disney Transportation bus, your stroller will need to be folded and held onto next to you or placed between the seats. Disney Monorails are equipped such that you can drive your stroller right onto any of the cars. Your child is welcome to stay in the stroller during the monorail ride. If not easily manoeuvrable, you may wish to use the wheelchair accessible cars which will be marked at the platform and include a ramp. The Magic Kingdom ferry boat and large boats including the Friendships that operate between Epcot and Hollywood Studios are also stroller friendly - allowing you to drive your stroller right onto the vessels. Smaller launches that service Magic Kingdom area resort hotels require that strollers be folded before boarding.

I hope this information helps you to prepare for your upcoming visit Shawn. If you have additional questions, please don't hesitate to write me back any time. It would be my pleasure to assist you further in any way that I may.

Wishing you a simply Magical Christmas visit to Walt Disney World!
