    Hi, I am visiting Disney World in Florida in February with my family. I am lactose intolerant, when we visited before we had table service meals and the chefs were wonderful, this time we have counter service,would I be able to get food made specially too.

    I'm so excited to see you will be returning to Walt Disney World Resort in early 2020!

    While I'm not lactose intolerant, I do have other food allergies and I agree with you. The chefs and teams in the table service restaurants are incredible! I appreciate how accommodating they are to ensure I have food that is not only allergy-friendly, but also yummy!

    There is a team focused on special dietary requests, and this includes quick-service locations. Select restaurants offer meal options and allergy-friendly menus. When you arrive at each location, you can ask a Cast Member about lactose free options. Typically, a Cast Member specially trained in special diets will chat with you, or you will be given a menu designed specifically with allergy-friendly items.

    Once you have your itinerary planned and have a tentative idea of your quick-service dining locations, I recommend you contact a Cast Member via email at Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com. When you reach out, be sure to include your allergy and list of the restaurants where you plan to dine. The Cast Member will provide you with information regarding your specific restaurant choices and help you navigate through your dining choices.
