We are visiting Disney World the first week of October with our 8 & 9 year old daughters. Is it really worth the extra money to go to Mickey's Halloween party?

Determining if Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be worth the cost for you is beyond my ability but I can give you reasons why you might enjoy this event.

Do your girls like candy and wearing costumes? If so, trick or treating in the Magic Kingdom might be a special treat that is hard to beat. Other unique entertainment events for this party include a special Boo to You Halloween Parade, HalloWishes fireworks, and characters in special costumes. These are the attributes my younger children enjoy about this event while my teenagers love that the lines for most attractions tend to be shorter than during regular hours. The park in the dark has a fun, festive atmosphere during the Halloween bash that families enjoy.

If you choose to only attend the party you just need special event tickets; you do not also have to purchase a general admission theme park ticket. Do note that not every attraction is open during this event.

I hope you will consider attending Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This event has always been a blast for my family.
