I am visiting Disney world for the first time with my husband, 7 year old boy and cousin. We will be there for 3 days-3 parks in the last week of dec. Which parks do you suggest? and do we need separate tickets for night time rides(eg.Tron)at Magic kingdom

Hello fellow Disney fan! Planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is (almost) as much fun as the vacation itself! Thanks for coming to planDisney for some magical advice! The two must-do theme parks I recommend are Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Plan on spending a full day at each of the parks!

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is home to so many amazing attractions! Here you will find Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge which has two out-of-this-world attractions – Millenium Falcon: Smugglers Run and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance! You should also plan on taking a stroll over to Toy Story Land where you will find Slinky Dog Dash, Toy Story Mania, and Alien Swirling Saucers! I also highly recommend Star Tours – The Adventures Continue, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, and the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular! All these attractions, and more, are included in your theme park admission to Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

Over at Magic Kingdom Park, you will find your preferred attraction, TRON Lightcycle / Run! You can ride into “the Grid” by utilizing the traditional standby line. You will also find another perfect new attraction at Magic Kingdom Park – Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Guests wishing to experience this attraction must use a virtual queue accessible at 7:00 AM and 1:00 PM using your My Disney Experience app. You’ll also find iconic attractions such as Pirates of the Caribbean, The Haunted Mansion, “it’s a small world,” Jungle Cruise, and Space Mountain! Other favorites in this park include Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Mickey’s PhilharMagic, and Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid!

When considering your third park, you might want to look at attraction height requirements for your seven-year-old. Knowing which attractions he can and can’t ride is important when deciding between EPCOT and Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

This is a tough choice! EPCOT will please your palette with some excellent food and drink choices! It is also home to one of the most amazing attractions at the Walt Disney World Resort – Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind! My family also enjoys Frozen Ever After, The Seas with Nemo and Friends, Soarin’ Around the World, and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park will allow you to take flight on the back of a banshee on Avatar Flight of Passage. You can also “risk” a run-in with the Yeti on Expedition Everest Legend of the Forbidden Mountain. Other favorites at this park include Kilimanjaro Safaris and the Festival of the Lion King show!

I hope these tips help with your big decision! Come on back to planDisney as you continue your countdown to Disney!

    Dreams do come true!
