I will be visiting Disney World for the first time at the end of March in 2010. Should I buy the tickets now or wait. Also, are the water parks included in the park hopper ticket price?

    Hi Patricia!

If you are not getting your park tickets as part of a vacation package you can certainly purchase them now and save them for your upcoming trip. They will be valid until their first use, after which all tickets must be redeemed within 14 days unless you purchase the no expiration option. Price increases usually go into effect at the end of summer, and while doubtful there is no guarantee that prices won't increase before March. If you'd like to play it safe, buying your tickets now is a good idea.

Admission to the water parks in not included with park hopper passes. You will need to purchase the Water Parks, Fun & More option in addition to the Park Hopper option. Currently, it is an additional $52 per ticket for park hopping and another $52 per ticket for the water parks option.

With the Water Parks, Fun & More option, you get an equal number of visits to Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach, DisneyQuest, the Wide World of Sports and Oak Trail Golf Course as there are days on your tickets. For example, if you purchase a six day ticket, you will receive six fun visits to redeem however you choose. You can use more than one in a day if you'd like. If you plan to only visit one water park during your stay, it is more economical to purchase a one day ticket to that park at the gate rather than the purchase the option on your tickets. The Water Parks, Fun & More will start saving you money after two visits to any of the above listed locations.

I hope this helps! Have a wonderful vacation next March!
