Visiting Disney World for the first time before my 40th birthday. Magical Kingom for Mickey's Halloween party, but have 2 more park days to plan, where should we go? (Food festival, Toy Story, Guard of the Galaxy ride, Lion King)

    Hey, howdy, hey, friend!

I’m so excited to hear that you’re planning to visit Disney World for the first time for your 40th birthday! WOW! This is going to be a birthday to remember! Be sure to get your complimentary “Happy Birthday” button from a Cast Member at any gift shop within the theme parks! Wear that thing with pride and you never know what extra magic will come your way while visiting!

I’m so happy that you’re going to be visiting Magic Kingdom during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! Enjoy all of the trick-or-treating, the shorter wait times for attractions, the special characters AND don’t miss the Boo-To-You Parade! It is one of my very favorite parades at Magic Kingdom!

For your additional 2 park days I would recommend the following:

    EPCOT:
-Enjoy Food & Wine Festival! Eat and drink around the world — and don’t forget to get the Brazilian Cheese Bread from the Brazil Pavilion.
-Make it a point to ride Guardians of the Galaxy, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and Soarin’. (Any other attractions are great too, but these are the most notable in my book!)
-Watch the nighttime spectacular, Luminous: The Symphony of Us — it is incredible!

    Hollywood Studios:
-Prioritize Slinky Dog Dash, Rise of the Resistance, Tower of Terror, and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway.
-Make a dining reservation for Roundup Rodeo BBQ or Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant for lunch or dinner!
-Watch Fantasmic! at the end of the day — I love this nighttime entertainment option!

Animal Kingdom is also an incredible option, but if I were choosing I would use my time to visit EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Magic Kingdom. We would love to give you additional tips for planning your days at EPCOT and Hollywood Studios if that’s what you choose to do! Please feel free to visit us again at planDisney, we’d love to help you further.

    See ya real soon,
    Allyn
