We will be visiting Disney World in a few weeks and my daughter will celebrate her 14th birthday while we are there. Is there anything special we could request for teenagers at Disney?

Hi Reegan! Happy Birthday to your daughter!  I have celebrated my daughter's birthday a few times at Disney and we always have a blast!  In fact, this past August we celebrated her Sweet 16 and she brought a few friends along to join in on the fun.  If your budget allows and you can let her invite a special friend, that would be loads of fun filled with memories they will never forget!

You'll definitely want to add the birthday celebration to your resort reservation as well as any dining reservations you may have.  She will probably be presented with a Birthday Button at check in but in case that doesn't happen, be sure to ask for one.  She will be amazed at all the Happy Birthday wishes she will receive on her special day!  And, if she is lucky, she may even have some small surprises along the way.

If you don't have a dining reservation for that day, you may want to consider something.  There are so many great options - some include characters, some don't depending on her preferences.  You can research options here.   Be sure to call the Cake Hotline (407-827-2253) to order a birthday cake!

You can also review some other celebration ideas here.  As you can see, the ideas are endless!

I hope your daughter has the most magical birthday ever!  Diane
