I will be visiting Disney World in February with my daughter and her family. Can you carry a back pack on rides?

    Hi Jane,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

Your visit to Walt Disney World is just about here and I am sure you are excited to visit with your daughter and her family.

Yes, you can carry a back pack on attractions, and what you do will vary with the attraction and the size of your backpack. With boatride-style attractions like "it's a small world" and Pirates of the Caribbean, you can board the boat and keep your backpack at your feet. With some attractions like Soarin' the attraction seat will have an underneath space to store small personal items, and the Cast Members will direct you to place your larger items like a backpack on the ground. Locker rentals are also available for guests.

We often visit the parks with a Cinch Sack-style backpack because they are light weight and fit easily into smaller spaces.

Keep in mind you'll be taking your backpacks through a bag check before you enter the parks.

Enjoy your February trip to Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
