    We will be visiting Disney World in early December. We live in Iowa and know that it will be much warmer than it is in Iowa. So what kind of weather should we prepare for? We have passes for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

    Hi Dennis,

    December is a wonderful time to visit Disney, as the parks are decorated for the holidays, and the weather is generally lovely.  Average highs are in the low 70s and average lows are in the 50s. Rainfall is generally not a problem at this time of year, as the rainy season is long gone.   I had the opportunity to visit the first week of December last year, and found these averages to be quite accurate.  I did well with layers, as the mornings and evenings got chilly, and the afternoons were warm.  I'd recommend packing light jackets for everyone in your family, along with short sleeved shirts for the sunny afternoons.

    I also spend a night with my Moms Panel Pals enjoying Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and had a wonderful time.  The parade was fabulous and walking through a "blizzard" (well, ok, a few snowflakes) on Main Street sure was magical!
