    Hi! We will be visiting Disney World during Thanksgiving week and I have a reservation at Ohana at 7:40am on November 24th I need to cancel. How far in advance can I cancel without having a fee charged?

    Hi Ginny!

    Many times it is hard to plan a full vacation when you are booking dining at the 180 day mark for a Walt Disney World trip. We often have to cancel something that sounded like a great plan but as it nears you realize it just isn’t going to work out.

    If you find that you need to cancel a Disney Dining Reservation you need to make sure you cancel it no less then two days ahead. Anything less could cause a penalty to be charged to the credit card you have placed down. You can do this on line or by calling 407-939-3463.

    If you know a reservation is not going to work and you will need to cancel then I strongly suggest you cancel that as soon as possible. There are many guests who are not able to get some of the dining spots that they hope and are constantly checking back to see if anything opens up for them. By canceling something as soon as you can it allows other families to add to their plans. There isn’t a penalty to cancel unless you cancel too late so the sooner the better for all involved.
