    Hello, we will be visiting Disney World on December 31st and were wondering what time the early fireworks show begins at Magic Kingdom. Also, how long will the show last? Thanks!

    Hello Greg and thanks for asking the Disney Parks Moms Panel such a great question about New Years Eve at Walt Disney World Resort. 
    I can't think of a more magical way to wave goodbye to 2017 and welcome in 2018 than by spending it within the enchantment of the Magic Kingdom Park!  Of course no New Years is ever quite complete without a fireworks spectacular and oh boy! you're in for a real treat with the Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks which are currently scheduled to take place at 6.30pm and again at 11.50pm on 31st December 2017; for your added information I would estimate the fireworks performance to be around 10 minutes or so in length. 
    Plus for some extra end of yEar inspiration I also thought you may find this recent Disney Parks Blog article ~ Celebrate the New Year at Walt Disney World Resort to be a useful planning resource.
