We are visiting Disney World in December and our son is turning 8 on the 20th while we are there. Do you have any ideas on where we could have a birthday party for him, or special things we could do on the day? Thanks!

    Hi Nicolette!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

I would love to celebrate my birthday at Walt Disney World!  There are so many ideas I have for you -

How about a character dinner at Chef Mickey's (at Disney's Contemporary Resort)?  This is a fun, lively dining experience with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Pluto, and they would love to celebrate your son's birthday with you!  All dining reservations can be made online, or by calling (407) 939 3463.

Remember to pick up a free Birthday Button for you son to wear all day !  He will receive lots of birthday attention.  You can collect these from your Walt Disney World Resort, or at Guest Relations at any of the four theme parks.

How about a special cake?  Call the Cake Hotline on (407) 827 2253, and you can organise this to be delivered to your dining table, as long as they have 48 hours notice.

The Disney Florist has some great ideas for Disney gifts that can be delivered to your resort hotel room - something for all ages.

If you have any other questions, please come back and ask me - I would be happy to help you plan your magical birthday vacation!
