    We are visiting Disney World in December 2016. Can we participate in the activities offered at the resorts without staying there overnight?

    How exciting to be visiting Walt Disney World Resort during the holidays! You will experience holiday decor like never before!

    Certain activities are only available for overnight guests, such as the pools, campfires, childcare services, and outdoor Disney movies. However, some activities that charge an additional fee, such as boat and bike rentals, golfing, and carriage rides are available for anyone. 

    But because you are visiting during the holiday season, there is plenty for you to see without being a guest of the hotel. 

    During this time there are plenty of things to see, smell, and taste happening in all of the Disney Resort Hotels. From spectacular Christmas trees to stunning life-size gingerbread houses! During the holiday season, guests and non-guests of the hotels have the opportunity to see all of the decor and hear festive music at no additional charge or admittance requirements. There are some activities that have an additional charge, such as the sleigh ride at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. However, parking at a Disney Resort without being a guest there has a time limit and a possible fee. So if you plan accordingly, you can visit more than one Disney Resort Hotel to maximize your parking time.

    If you have additional questions while visiting one of the resorts, a Cast-member will be happy to direct you as to which activities are available for overnight guests only.
