Hey Howdy Hey Kalai and welcome to planDisney!
How exciting! Visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during the most Magical time of the year will be filled with memories that will last a lifetime. With every trip to Walt Disney World, everyone has their own "must-do" list and I am happy to hear you have yours. Seeing
Happily Ever After is not only a great way to end your evening, but the fireworks show is second to none. Let's talk about when you will have your chance to see this spectacular show.
I am happy to report that fireworks in Magic Kingdom are typically a nightly event pending any inclement weather. During your trip in December, make sure you keep an eye on the
Event Calendar for Magic Kingdom. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will be held on select nights in December and on those nights, Happily Ever After will not happen. Instead, the fireworks for the party will happen around 10:00 PM pending the weather. As long as you are visiting Magic Kingdom during non-party days, you should still be able to view Happily Ever After.
Since this will be your first time in the Magic Kingdom for the fireworks, the best viewing spot will be in front of Cinderella Castle. Either in the hub right in front or on Main Street U.S.A., as long as you can see the front of the castle you are in a great spot. The display on the castle is amazing and the fireworks frame it perfectly. If you are farther back on Main Street, you will be immersed in the show with the buildings around you having their own projections on them to compliment the show. Either way, make sure you get your spot about an hour or two early so you have prime seating!
I wish you a vacation full of Magical memories on your first trip to the Vacation Kingdom. If you have any other questions, please feel free to let us know, we are always happy to help!
To Infinity and Beyond,
Nick
