Hi Barbara,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting to visit the Walt Disney World Resort during the holiday season!
Although my family has used Park Hopper tickets occasionally, we prefer to stay in one park each day. For us, we enjoy experiencing as many attractions as possible in each park before heading off to another one. Given the time of year you are going, I would agree that it may take you longer to park hop. Keep in mind also that guests at select Disney resort hotels can use complimentary
Resort Transportation to get from one location to another. Use the
My Disney Experience Mobile App to determine estimated transit times and transit options between locations.
Barbara, having said that, if we have Park Hopper tickets, we do love to spend the morning in one park, take a break in the afternoon, return to the resort hotel and then do dinner in a different park. If you try this strategy, be sure to check the park hours. If you want to have time to experience a few attractions after dinner and are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, take advantage of evening Extra Magic Hours if they are scheduled. Or, if you are staying off property, make
advanced dining reservations for a time that would allow you to finish dinner and go ride!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
