Hi! We'll be visiting Disney World from Dec. 7-13 and was hoping to do the Star Wars dessert party. But I've heard that Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam will be happening nightly instead. Is there any chance they'll also do the Star Wars party?

Hello Alisha!  Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

During the Holiday season last year, I was able to experience Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! for the very first time and was blown away by the immersive experience and various multi-media elements that pulled it all together. As a Star Wars fan at heart however, I prefer the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular. If they had Chewbacca in a Santa Hat, that would be enough Christmas inclusion for me!

While news has been circulating that the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! Nighttime Spectacular will be returning for this upcoming holiday season, a full schedule has not yet been released. Last year, while Jungle Bell, Jingle BAM! was performed nightly, the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular was put on hiatus and did not return until January 2017.

Hopefully, with the popularity of Star Wars at Disney's Hollywood Studios Theme Park and the upcoming Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge due to open at Walt Disney World Resort in 2019, the schedule will allow for nightly showings of both wonderful shows.

I recommend that you keep posted on the Disney Parks Blog for more information about Jingle Bell Jingle BAM! and the effect it will have on the regular shows at Disney's Hollywood Studios Theme Park.

Say "Ho Ho Ho" to Chewie for me!
