We are going to be visiting Disney World with our children and grandchildren. Are the grandchildren allowed to wear princess dresses or star wars outfits that were not purchased at a Disney store?

    Hello Lynn,

Thanks so much for stopping by!  How exciting that you are planning a multi-generational trip to Walt Disney World!  My parents have accompanied by boys and me since their very first Walt Disney World vacation and we have made some incredible memories!  You can absolutely have your grandchildren wear princess and/or Star Wars outfits that you purchased outside Walt Disney World to make their visits extra magical.  You will see lots of little girls wearing princess outfits throughout the parks and loving every minute of it!   You will also see may Star Wars t-shirts on kids (and adults) of all ages purchased all over the globe!  Please note, that full costumes may not be worn by Guests ages 14 and older, however, some costumes may be permitted during select special events such as Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Star Wars:  Galactic Nights.  Masks may not be worn by guests over 14.  In these cases, special event costume guidelines apply. I hope you have a magical trip!
