Dear Elizabeth,
Thank you so much for thinking of us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We are happy to assist you with your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
The Walt Disney World Resort loves to accommodate guests with a wide variety of disabilities and I know that your child will have a wondEARful time on their visit!
There are many ways in which
guests with visual disabilities are accommodated at the Walt Disney World Resort, including through Audio Description on attractions, Braille Guidebooks, Portable Tactile Map Booklets, and Stationary Braille Maps, for example! I'm not sure if your child will need any of those, but they are available.
Guest Relations Cast Members will be more than happy to assist you with any specifics that will work for your child and the rest of your family as well, so please do stop by to visit them when you arrive at the parks!
Hope that helps with your magical planning!
