Hi Nicholas,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! One of the most wonderful things about a visit to Walt Disney World Resort is the convenient
resort transportation options. You have lots of options to travel between the Theme Parks.
The simplest is Disney's Animal Kingdom where
buses are the only current mode of transportation. You can take a bus to or from Disney's Animal Kingdom to or from any of the other Theme Parks.
The
Monorail is the best way to travel between Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot. You make one transfer at the Transportation and Ticket Center.
From Magic Kingdom Park to visit Disney's Hollywood Studios, you will also take a bus.
I've saved my favorite transportation options for last. You have two options to travel between Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot. There is
water transportation, the FriendShip Launch, that travels between Epcot's International Gateway and Disney's Hollywood Studios making stops at the Epcot area resorts. My husband and I joke that our ideal retirement job would be a FriendShip Launch captain!
The brand new
Disney Skyliner also travels between Epcot's International Gateway and Disney's Hollywood Studios. There is one stop to change lines at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. I absolutely love the Skyliner. It's a quick, comfortable way to travel between parks.
I hope all of these options haven't been too confusing. Nicholas, thank you for stopping by with your question! Please let me know if I can help you with other transportation or planning questions.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Amy H.
