Hello, we will be visiting Disney World the beginning of November and would love to see the fireworks in Magic Kingdom. Do they still have the plaza dessert party? We would love to try it out, but I do not see it listed. Thanks so much! Pauline

    Hi Pauline,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited you are considering attending a Fireworks Dessert Party at Magic Kingdom Park. My family and friends know I love a good dessert party, and the Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing is one of my favorites. I think your day and evening in the parks with a dessert party adds just the right touch of magic to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

I have good news for you! The Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing is still scheduled for this fall. Dates are released 180 days in advance for booking. Occasionally, booking dates for dessert parties will lag a bit behind booking dates for restaurants, so if you don't see the dates you are hoping for, be sure to keep checking. On nights when a Special Event like Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party or Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is scheduled, you will need to have a Special Event ticket in order to book one of the Fireworks Dessert Parties.

If, for whatever reason, the Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing doesn't work out, remember there are two other dessert parties to choose from at Magic Kingdom Park. The Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace takes place entirely at the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant. You and your party will have reserved seats to enjoy delectable dessert choices and an unbeatable view of the fireworks and Tinker Bell flying overhead. The Magic Kingdom After-Fireworks Dessert Party begins with a fabulous view of the fireworks from the Plaza Garden and ends with fabulous treats and desserts at the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant.

Since you're considering this dessert party, you might want to check out the Enchanting Extras Collection for even more ways to add a little extra pixie dust to your visit. Pauline, thank you for visiting us with your question. I hope you'll let us know if we can help you with any other planning questions.
    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Amy H.
