Hello Kathy! Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It is so thoughtful of you to think of your granddaughter's needs as you prepare for your March visit! It will be here before you know it!
The Walt Disney World Resort goes to great lengths to make sure that all Guests have the most magical experience possible during their stay. This includes
accommodating dietary and medical needs of Guests. I am happy to share that
dining locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort are able to provide special options for Guests in order to help address any dietary intolerances. In fact, gluten-free is listed on the list of "common food allergies and intolerances" which they are able to address.
Kathy, having a child with food allergies, I always recommend providing various notices. For example, if you choose to call Disney Dining to make an advanced dining reservation, mention the gluten-free diet to the Cast Member making your reservation. I also recommend notifying the Cast Member greeting you at your dining location. Finally, be sure to make a final mention to your server at your dining location.
Feel free to come back to visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional planning questions regarding your upcoming trip! I hope you and your granddaughter have a magical visit!
