I will be visiting Disney the week after Thanksgiving. Will the Christmas decorations be on display by then?

    Hi Diane,

Glad to know you are planning a vacation at Walt Disney World Resort for next November. It is my favorite time of the year to visit.

Mickey starts to celebrate the Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort in early November, and the whole Resort dresses up for the occasion. During November and December, he and his friends are ready to have fun in Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. This is a special ticketed event, which sells out fast, so get your tickets early. And starting the day after Thanksgiving, you cannot miss Candlelight Processional. Be ready to experience some angelic choirs and orchestra perform music from the season, while celebrity narrators retell the story of Christmas. Held in Epcot a few times every day, this is a very popular experience. The best way to experience it is with a Candlelight Dining Package. Keep an eye for announcements sometime in the summer.

One last tip: remember to make dining reservations up to 180 days in advance. However, note that special dining packages require their own separate reservation. Visit the Walt Disney World Restaurants and Reservations page to make them. Happy planning!

    Ricardo.
